Self Esteem

Self Esteem and its importance

There is a factor that separates the risk takers from the fearful, the depressed from the optimistic, and the successful from the unsuccessful. This factor is self-esteem, and it is the center to everything we do. It changes how people feel and how much they value themselves. The amount of self esteem a person has affects every thought and every action they take in life and the quality of life they end up having.

Your self-esteem is the respect or favorable impression you have of yourself. Many people are lacking in this area. Low self esteem is extremely dangerous. It leads to a negative outlook on life, constant failure and trouble moving forward, poor relationships, a poor self image, and lack of confidence. When you don’t value yourself and regard yourself highly, you see no point in being alive and feel helpless. Constant failure and trouble moving forward is common for those with low self esteem because they feel like they can’t do anything right. They don’t try new things because they assume they will fail. If you take no risks, you never see your true potential. Self esteem leads to poor relationships because people with low self esteem don’t love themselves very much. Therefore, they have trouble loving others.

7 Acre Beach Plot Mtwapa

Beautiful Seven Acre Beach Plot At Mtwapa.

This plot is located at Mtwapa. It is a seven acre plot, with almost 6 acres undeveloped. The one acre that has been built upon includes two sea facing houses with a swimming pool, store, car parks and private access to the beach.

This plot is ideal for constructing Villas, since the access to the beach already exists the only thing remaining is the construction of the Villas. A good example of such a project is the Wonder Paradise Beach Resort located at South Coast. The development could consist of a stretch of several Villas facing the swimming pool with each Villa having access to the beach. The houses that already exist could be brought down and a lounge area could be put up instead.

The owner is asking for 25M per acre but he is very keen for a quick sale it so there is lots of room for negotiation, which could bring the price down significantly.

Mtwapa is being developed at an alarming rate. This place is in huge demand hence a very good investment, prices for a 50 x 80 plot at the moment are going for 2.5M.

2 Acres GreenWood Drive Nyali, Corner Plot

These are a few pictures of a 2 acre property on Greenwood Drive. This is a highly desirable corner plot and is ideal for development as you can see in the background major developments have taken place. The area is very popular and I have inquired if there are any available flats in the surrounding buildings but all have been occupied.

This is a beautiful plot and I have been informed that if a high rise is constructed you would be able to see the sea.

Copies of the deeds for this property are available. Viewing of the plot is by appointment only as per the owners strict polices.

The asking price, which is very reasonable for its high end location, is 65M per acre. Once interested in purchasing negotiation can take place directly with the owners.

Mombasa Island
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Jump to: navigation, search
Mombasa Island is a 5 km by 3 km coral outcrop located on Kenya’s coast on the Indian Ocean.

The old town of Mombasa is located at the eastern, seaward end of the island. Kilindini and Port Reitz, the modern deep water harbour and port separates the island from the African mainland to the south. The old harbour, which is named Port Tudor and guarded by Fort Jesus, and Tudor Creek separate the island from the northern mainland. Modern residential sprawl and industrial areas now occupy the rest of the island.

Mombasa is linked to the mainland by the Makupa Causeway to the west, by the Nyali Bridge to the north and by the Likoni Ferry to the south.

Port Tudor and Tudor Creek were named by Owen Tudor the Royal Navy captain who first surveyed the area.

In the game Halo 2, New Mombasa is present here as well.

fortjesus, an introduction

Fort Jesus is a Portuguese fort built in 1593 on Mombasa Island to guard the Old Port of Mombasa, Kenya. It is built in the shape of a man, and was given the name of Jesus in an obvious religious reference.

Between 1631 and 1875 the fort was won and lost nine times by the nations contesting control of Mombasa. It was declared a historical monument in 1958. Today it houses a museum.

Viewed from the air, the fort is built in the shape of a man.

The fort was designed by an Italian architect, Jao Batisto Cairato, who was the Chief Architect for Portuguese possessions in the East. Today, it is one of the finest examples of 16th century Portuguese military architecture. The fort quickly became a vital possession for anyone with the intention of controlling Mombasa Island. When the British colonised Kenya, they used it as a prison.
